Focus question: How does Mastering Number contribute to the effectiveness of teaching for mastery in our school?

Now that Mastering Number @ Reception and Key Stage 1 has entered its fifth year, we acknowledge that staffing changes within schools may have resulted in colleagues who are less familiar with the programme. In some cases, the programme may also not yet be fully embedded within the school’s practice.
