Who is this for?
Are you teaching Year 7 students who didn’t meet age-related expectations in maths at the end of primary school—particularly those in the lowest 20–30% nationally? Whether you’re a new or experienced teacher, this fully funded programme is designed to support you in closing the gap for these learners.
What’s involved?
Join us for three collaborative and practical sessions where you’ll:
Access expertly designed, high-quality resources tailored to support students with KS2 gaps.
Strengthen your understanding of the maths curriculum and progression from KS1 to KS3.
Develop strategies to help students access and succeed with the KS3 curriculum.
Engage with research-informed approaches to support mathematical reasoning for all learners.
Become part of a supportive professional learning community focused on improving practice.
What will you gain?
By the end of the programme, you will:
See tangible progress in your students’ ability to access and succeed in KS3 maths.
Deepen your subject and pedagogical knowledge across KS1, KS2, and KS3.
Explore and apply effective teaching strategies that help all students reason and think mathematically.
