On a similar theme, we are also recruiting for a new role within our LLME (Local Leaders of Mathematics Education) and invite suitable candidates to apply to become our ‘Assistant Maths Hub Lead for Reception’. Our primary article this time asks the question ‘what does effective oracy look like in everyday classroom practice?’.

The BBO Hub has exciting times ahead which we would like to share with you in this edition of our newsletter. The date has now been set for our annual BBO Conference and we would love as many of you as possible to join us on 20 March. We are extremely pleased to have secured a fascinating keynote speaker in John Mason, author of Thinking Mathematically. As well as information on the Work Groups still available to book this year, we are also looking ahead to 2023/24 and have details inside of many PD Leadership opportunities you can apply for now. We have also opened up applications to join the incredibly popular Mastering Number project in Autumn 2023.
