Mastering Number at Key Stage 2 Support

Following the success of the pilot year of Mastering Number at Key Stage 2, we would like to offer Sustaining schools who took part in the pilot a second year of support to ensure the program has been embedded. This is also an opportunity for staff who are new to Mastering Number at KS2 to learn about the program and how to deliver it.

 The offer is comprised of:

• 1 face-to -face session will focus on getting to grips with the year 5 materials as it was highlighted to us that many year 5 teachers used the year 4 materials when beginning the program last year. This session will dig deeper into the subject knowledge needed to deliver these session effectively. This session will be offered in 4 different locations.

• 1 online session. This will be a chance to both look at some of the maths behind the next batch of resources and also for you to talk about how it’s going in your school. At the end of the session there will be an opportunity for you to ask our very experienced lead any questions you may have.

There are 2 different online sessions to choose from but the content will be the same in each.

In addition, ongoing support will be offered thought the Basecamp community.

Other sessions will be offered in Spring and Summer term and will be posted on the Basecamp community where you can sign up.
