Welcome to the fourth edition of the BBO Maths Hub newsletter for 2024-2025. To read it, you can either view the pdf or go to the online brochure.
At this mid point in the academic year, we turn our thoughts towards the next and our newsletter this time focuses on ways in which your school can get involved with your local Maths Hub in 2025/26. Applications have just opened for our ever popular Mastering Number at KS1 programme and we are also accepting applications to take part in a new EEF trial looking at the impact of the the Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics – Secondary Non-Specialist Teachers Work Group on both teachers and students.
We have a final shout out for applications to join our LLME by taking part in one of the NCETM’s professional development programmes. The deadline to apply is Friday 14th March for all but the Secondary Mastery Specialist project (which has been extended until 28th April), so don’t delay!
Don’t forget, all of our Work Groups are fully funded by the Maths Hub programme and are therefore provided FREE to state schools in the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire area.
