This is an opportunity to find out about Secondary Teaching for Mastery and how it can have a positive impact in your school.
What is involved?
Mastering maths means acquiring a deep, long-term, secure and adaptable understanding of the subject. At any one point in a pupil’s journey through school, achieving mastery is taken to mean acquiring a solid enough understanding of the maths that’s been taught to enable him/her move on to more advanced material.
We are offering an opportunity to observe Maths lessons based on the Mastery Approach and ask the team at Slough and Eton CofE Business and Enterprise College about their Mastery journey, on:
Thursday the 6th of July: 10:00am – 12:25pm
Who is it for?
Headteachers, Maths Subject Leaders and other school leaders in the BBO Maths Hub area
What is the cost?
All Maths Hub events and CPD are funded by DfE and so are ‘free’ to state schools to attend.
